I initially made this "parmesan" cheese for a plant-based lasagna I was making that turned out delicious, but that's another post! There is only main ingredient: raw cashews nuts + spices. I modified a recipe from The Minimalist Baker to create it since I don't want to be using nutritional yeast. Ingredients: Raw Cashews, 1 Cup Sea Salt, 1.5 Teaspoons Oregano, 2 Teaspoons Garlic Powder, 3 Teaspoons Basil, 1.5 Teaspoons Crushed Red Pepper, 1/2 Teaspoon

I recently got my hands on two big, meaty organic mangoes from Whole Foods (luckily on sale!). This mango salad adds healthy sweetness to any dish, whether it be rice, quinoa or a fish dish. I had it with some wild salmon the other day, it was out of this world! I gabbed one big mango and cut it into small cubes, then placed it in a glass bowl.
I then placed about 1/4 of a small red onion into my new mini food processor (I am obsessed with how much easier it is to prepare th
It's DELICIOUS. It's EASY TO MAKE. It's SATISFYING. This kale salad has it all! The nutrition, the greens, the sweetness and the saltiness, a perfect meal to avoid after meal cravings, if you eat enough of it. So what is enough? There are general guidelines to follow but ultimately you will have to tune into your body and notice when enough is enough which is part of what I teach as a health coach. And make sure you chew it well, each bite and savor the taste, the combination
I was so happy when I made the below recipe with my new ceramic (less toxic chemicals than other non-stick surfaces) waffle-maker yesterday. I love love love the texture of the waffles and the flavor (lacking some sweetness but I added none since we used maple syrup to it after). INGREDIENTS: FLAX EGG: 3 Tablespoons Flax Seeds (ground) 6 Tablespoons Filtered Water BATTER: 3 Cups Gluten-Free Oat Flour
1 & 1/2 Cup Unsweetened Almond Milk (add more milk if needed) 1/4 Cup Tahini
I knew it was a pancake day as soon as I woke up today. I haven't made any for AGES!
I've tried a lot of different gluten-free, egg-free, dairy-free pancakes & many fall flat! But this one I really liked & the entire family enjoyed them! Few ingredients, add to blender (I used my Nutribullet) & just pour straight into the pan.
Gluten Free Oat Flour (1 Cup)*
Almond Milk (1/2 Cup + some)
Maple Syrup (2 Tablespoons)
Ripe Banana (1)
Vanilla Extract (1 Teaspoon)*
