Quick, Versatile & Yummy Tahini Kale Sauce
I needed a sauce for my baked potato, and I needed it fast! I added Tahini paste + water with garlic and lemon/lime, together with 2 pieces of green dino kale (the kind they sell in bunches at Wholefoods).
This is such an awesome thing to have at hand since it lasts forever in the fridge and goes well with rice & quinoa dishes, on baked potatoes, with steamed veggies, the list goes on!
1/2 Cup Tahini (I get an organic version from Trader Joe's)
1/2 Cup water (make sure it's filtered)
4 Big Garlic Cloves
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
Juice of 1 lime
Juice of 1 BIG lemon
2 Stalks Dino Kale (with hard parts removed)
Salt/pepper to taste
Combine all ingredients in a mini food processor and done!
Store in glass container with a lid in the fridge.
